Lord God –
Our teacher
Instruct us through your word
Guide us…set a plumb line of good/evil, right/wrong
“This is the way, walk ye in it.”
You comfort us when we weep
Sustain us when we are weary
Forgive us when we fail
And fill us with the joy of your creation


As believers we come together today to pray in earnest for our educators, students, and parents.


We pray for an extra measure of patience, wisdom, and calm strength for our local teachers.  Bless them, Lord.  Allow them to see every child in their classroom as you see them.  Give our teachers clarity of mind, organized and successful days and peaceful nights.


We pray for our children – that we as a community of believers would aid our educators in raising up a new generation that loves whatever is just, and good, and true.  We pray for students…that they would be seekers of knowledge, true student learners…curious…determined…faithful.


We pray for parents, our children’s first educators.  Turn the hearts of parents to their children and the hearts of children to their parents.  Lord, we pray for strong families…knit them together for your glory…we pray…Amen.
